Sea Wolves' All-Star Menei returns from Italy

BILOXI – Forward Ryan Menei has returned to the Sea Wolves after starting the season with Asiago HC in Italy, the team announced today.

“The Sea Wolves are glad to have Ryan back here on the coast,” said Sea Wolves head coach Steffon Walby. “He will have to work hard in order to catch up conditioning-wise, but Ryan will be a great addition to our hockey club.”

Menei was the Sea Wolves’ representative at the 2008 ECHL All-Star Game in Stockton, Ca., and scored 23 goals and 53 assists in 71 regular season games as a rookie. A native of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Menei played three full seasons in the Western Hockey League with Saskatoon, appearing in 177 games while scoring 114 points (50g, 64a).
