Prosecutors today will ask for the dismissal of a capital murder charge against Bobby Hendrix, accused of capital murder in the April 29 slaying of Duncan Hatten. District Attorney Cono Caranna said forensic tests didn't show probable cause sufficient to hold Hendrix in the fatal shooting of the former Stone County supervisor. Prosecutors and Hendrix' attorney will meet this morning with Circuit Judge Lisa Dodson at the Stone County Courthouse. Hendrix has been in custody without bond since his arrest. The Sun Herald provides updates on this story as details develop.
