Great dining in South Mississippi isn’t just about the food — it encompasses everything from hospitality and ambiance to the wine program.

Seven Mississippi Coast restaurants were recently recognized for their wide range of wine choices, landing on Wine Spectator’s 2026 excellence awards.

Beau Rivage Resort & Casino

A majority of the restaurants featured on the award’s list are located at the same address. That’s because these restaurants are part of the fine dining offerings at Beau Rivage Resort & Casino.

The resort and casino features a cellar of more than 5,000 bottles and more than 300 labels of wine, a spokesperson at Beau Rivage told McClatchy Media in a June 30 email.

“Sommelier Charlene Egan has curated wine lists for each restaurant that pair with the menus from four vastly different cuisines to create a sumptuous dining experience for our guests,” the spokesperson said.

The restaurants that made the awards list located at the resort and casino include the following:

  • Coraline’s
  • BR Prime Steakhouse
  • Jia
  • Stalla Italian Kitchen
