Another nationwide wave of “No Kings,” anti-Trump events are set to take place Sunday, June 14 — coinciding with Flag Day and President Donald Trump’s 80th birthday.

This is the fourth iteration of No Kings — a movement planned by 50501, a grassroots organization that started as a response to the actions of the Trump administration, according to the official No Kings website.

As of June 10, one event is set to take place on the Mississippi Coast, the website shows. Here’s what to know about the event.

What is No Kings?

The first “No Kings” demonstrations took place June 14, 2025, with more than 2,000 demonstrations across all 50 states, McClatchy Media reported.

The demonstrations look to tackle multiple Trump administration policies — including immigration, healthcare, environmental protections and education — which organizers view as “anti-democratic,” according to the website.

A commitment to nonviolent action is one of the core principles behind the movement, organizers said.

How is this “No Kings” event different?

Rather than a set of demonstrations and rallies, the June 14 event is a livestream concert with local watch parties across the country.

Featured celebrities include Jane Fonda, Patti Smith, Bette Midler, Rufus Wainwright, Joy Reid, Wilson Cruz, Broadway Inspirational Voices and more, according to the website.

The livestream begins at 6:30 p.m., according to the No Kings website.

When and where are protests taking place in MS?

One Mississippi event is listed as of June 10 at nokings.org. The event is set for June 14, coinciding with demonstrations nationally. More events could be added closer to the date.
