If you’re on the Mississippi Coast right now, it may seem like Jeeps are taking over.

That’s because Jeepin the Coast, an annual event that lasts five days, has just begun. This year’s celebration features live music, competitions, a church service and more and runs from May 27 through May 31, according to the event’s official website.

Here’s what to know about the unique display of vehicles.

What is Jeepin the Coast?

Jeepin the Coast is a family-friendly event spread across 26 miles of beaches on the Mississippi Coast that brings together Jeep-lovers from across the country, according to the event’s website.

The event started in 2018 after the Jeep ride in Cruisin’ the Coast grew so much that there was demand for a weekend just for Jeeps, event organizer Jennifer Moran told WXXV.

What’s the schedule for this year’s event?
