One of the biggest candy holidays in the United States is right around the corner. Easter is synonymous in many places with chocolate, marshmallows, jelly beans and more.

A recent survey by health research platform Innerbody found the most popular Easter candy in each state according to search interest.

So, what’s Mississippi’s favorite candy for Easter? And how does it compare to favorite candies in other states? Here’s what the survey found.

The Magnolia State’s favorite Easter candy is unique from all other states, the Innerbody survey found.

Kinder Joy Eggs are the most popular Easter candy in Mississippi based on search interest, according to the survey. The candy eggs are made of plastic and open up to reveal a toy in one half and a scoopable milky and chocolatey cream with wafer bites on top.

The survey also revealed that Mississippians aren’t that interested in Easter candy. The state ranked 38th for Easter candy internet searches.

How did health research platform find the most popular candies?

Innerbody looked at Google Trends search data during the month leading up to Easter to find geographic patterns for searches using terms related to Easter candy and found the most popular candy search in each state, analysts said.
