A Mississippi facility was named among the best 250 hospitals in the United States, according to a recently released ranking.
Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi, located at 1100 Belk Boulevard in Oxford was recognized as being in the top 5% in the country for “overall clinical excellence,” according to the ranking by Healthgrades, an online resource for information about physicians and hospitals.
“For the second year in a row, we’ve been named one of the Top 250 Best Hospitals in the nation — and we are the only hospital in Mississippi to receive this recognition,” hospital staff said in a Feb. 16 post on Facebook. “This honor reflects the dedication, skill and compassion of our physicians, nurses and staff who deliver exceptional care every day.”
The hospital received an “A” hospital safety grade for Fall 2025 by Leapfrog Group, a biannual hospital safety ratings program, and a four out of five star patient experience score by U.S. News & World Report.
