For those looking to skip the cooking this Christmas, there are plenty of restaurant options in the Biloxi-area that will be open on the holiday.
About 57% of U.S. consumers said they plan to go out to eat at a restaurant during the holidays, according to a 2022 survey by the National Restaurant Association.
For many, 78%, eating out at a restaurant instead of cooking at home felt like a better use of their time, giving them an opportunity to socialize with family and friends, the survey found.
“During the holidays — maybe more than any other time of the year — we work to make meaningful connections with the people in our lives. The restaurants in our communities provide the space and comfort to do so while sharing a meal,” Michelle Korsmo, President & CEO of the National Restaurant Association, said in the news release.

1. Beau Rivage Resort & Casino
Ranking in the top spot on Yelp’s list is the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino which has several options for Christmas brunch, including the following:
- Salt & Ivy: Christmas brunch from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. All-day menu, including a Christmas special, from 2 p.m. to midnight.
- Bet MGM Book Bar & Grill, open from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
- BR Prime, open from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m.
- Coraline’s, Jia and Stalla, open from 4:30 to 10 p.m.
