Stranger Things — one of the most streamed Netflix TV series — is coming to an end, and theaters across the United States and Canada are hosting fan screenings of the finale, according to the official Stranger Things website.

The TV series, which first aired in 2016, takes place in Indiana during the 1980s and follows a group of friends as they search for answers in a series of events dealing with the supernatural and secret government actions, according to IMDb.

The long-awaited series finale will premiere on New Year’s Eve, and one theater along the Mississippi Gulf Coast will show the finale, according to the show’s official website. Here’s what to know.
