Biloxi-based novel by John Grisham to become Amazon Prime Video series, reports say
A Biloxi-based novel is set to become a new series on Amazon Prime Video, according to the book’s author.
“A new Grisham TV series is headed our way — ‘The Boys From Biloxi’ is in the works with Prime Video,” author John Grisham said in a Nov. 14 Facebook post.
The adaptation of Grisham’s 2022 bestseller comes on the heels of other projects based on books by the author, including the USA Network series “The Rainmaker” and Universal Pictures’ upcoming film “The Partner,” Deadline reported.
“The Boys From Biloxi” is a law thriller that tells the story of corruption in Biloxi by focusing on the stories of two boys who grew up as friends and later end up in a “courtroom showdown,” according to Penguin Random House’s website.

The project already has some big names, including the following, Deadline and Parade reported:
- Patrick Macmanus, co-creator of Hulu’s “The Girl From Plainville,” as executive producer, adapter and showrunner
- Jenna Bush Hager, news personality and bestselling author, as non-writing executive producer
- Ben Spector as non-writing executive producer
- Author John Grisham as non-writing executive producer
- David Gernert as non-writing executive producer
