These select Target stores in MS to host midnight launch parties for new Taylor Swift album

Calling all Swifties. In celebration of Taylor Swift releasing her 12th studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” on Oct. 3, two Mississippi Target stores will be open at midnight local time with three exclusive CDs.

These select stores, along with more than 100 across the nation, will offer the following exclusive CD editions: “It’s Beautiful,” “It’s Frightening” and “It’s Rapturous,” according to Target’s website.

The 12-track CDs cost $14.99 each and include “an exclusive poster, collectible cover and disc art, never-before-seen photos, lyrics and more,” according to the website. CDs are limited to four per customer while supplies last.

Swift announced her new album Aug. 12 on a podcast by her fiance, Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce and his brother, retired football player Jason Kelce, according to a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.
