Aug. 29-31 — Booker Fest, a performance festival at 100 Men Hall, 303 Union Street, Bay St. Louis. Tickets start at $30.
Friday
Multiple events commemorating the 20th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina will take place across the region on Friday, Aug. 29. Mississippians who are unable to attend one of these events are encouraged to join in on a statewide one-minute moment of silence at 8:29 a.m.
