The 27th annual Cruisin’ The Coast, a weeklong car show dubbed “America’s Largest Block Party,” just passed 10,000 registrants for the first time on Friday, according to Cruisin’ The Coast Executive Director Woody Bailey.
The number blows the 2022 record of 9,618 out of the water with two more days of the event left to go.
The event, which tops USA Today’s 10 best car shows of 2023 list, is one of the largest car shows in the U.S. and attracts classic car lovers from around the country. As of Thursday, the 2023 Cruisin’ The Coast had registrants from 44 states as well as Canada, England and Germany.
