Eastbound lanes of I-10 reopen after Tuesday morning fatal crash
A wreck that closed all eastbound lanes on I-10 Tuesday morning also claimed a life.
“The call came in at 6:09 a.m.,” said Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop K’s Calvin Robertson. “The crash occurred at the 56 mile marker eastbound.”
Two vehicles were involved in the fatal crash.
Details of the victim have not been released, pending family notification.
A second unrelated crash occurred at I-10 west’s 54 mile marker Tuesday morning. Robertson reported injuries, but no fatalities at the westbound wreck.
As of 9:25 a.m. the interstate has reopened to eastbound traffic.
