Pedestrian hit by vehicle on Pass Road near Highway 49 in Gulfport
A pedestrian was injured in an accident on Pass Road in Gulfport, police said Wednesday.
The incident involving one vehicle was reported at 12:17 p.m. at the intersection of Pass Road and 24th Avenue.
The intersection is one block from Highway 49.
The vehicle was traveling eastbound on Pass Road when the car struck the victim, police said. The pedestrian was transported in stable condition. No one in the vehicle was injured.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police.
Police had briefly shut down Pass Road to assist with the accident, but the road is now open.
