Cars mangled in wreck on Highway 90 in Biloxi. Drive with caution in the area.
Drivers should expect traffic delays on U.S. 90 near White Avenue after a Friday afternoon wreck involving two vehicles.
A Cadillac SUV landed on top of a flipped vehicle in the median near the Seashore Oaks living center, west of the White House Hotel and Biloxi Lighthouse.
The Mississippi Department of Transportation said around 2 p.m. that drivers should expect delays for about an hour. Wreckers were on scene to remove the vehicles from the sandy median at 1:45 p.m.
At least one palm tree was struck down in the wreck.
Biloxi police Sgt. Grandver Everett said two people sustained minor injuries and were taken to an area hospital for treatment.
