Gulfport woman dies after crashing SUV into church
A woman was killed in a single-car accident Tuesday afternoon after the vehicle she was driving ran into a Gulfport church.
Coroner Brian Switzer responded to the wreck at 4:15 p.m. and pronounced Gulfport resident Brandon Galloway dead at the scene.
Switzer suspected a medical condition Galloway had was the likely culprit of her accelerating her sports utility vehicle on Commerce Street and running into the brick exterior of Missionary Baptist Church at the corner of Commerce and Washington Avenue.
