AT&T restores services after Tuesday’s outages across the MS Coast

Update: AT&T has restored service to all of the coastal areas affected by Tuesday’s outages. The services restored Tuesday evening.

“Our technicians worked quickly to restore internet and home phone service to customers in the Mississippi coast region. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate the patience of our customers,” said Alexis Stewart, spokesperson for AT&T.

AT&T reported an internet and digital home phone outage along the Mississippi Coast Tuesday afternoon.

According to AT&T, the outage runs from Houston, Texas to Moss Point. The affected areas are south of Interstate 10.

In Moss Point, the outages center around Highway 90 near the Grand Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve.

In Pascagoula, the affected area is between Pascagoula Street and Chicot Rd.

The affected areas in Gulfport and Biloxi are north of 12th Street, south of 20th Street and between 41st Ave. and 29th Ave. Biloxi also has areas north of Interstate 10 and southeast of Daisy Vestry Rd. Users in Ocean Springs also reported outages.
