Still more Christmas events are planned across the MS Coast this year. Here’s the list.

South Mississippi celebrates Christmas like nowhere else.

The 12 Coast cities make the most of their waterfronts with boat parades that reflect the decorations from the boats onto the bays and bayous.

Gulfport Harbor Lights transforms Jones Park with about two million lights and snow flurries, and the ancient oaks along Washington Avenue in downtown Ocean Springs are wrapped in white, creating a tunnel of lights for families to drive through.

Here’s a list of holiday events that will help families make their own Christmas movies and memories with lights, their cameras and action:

Dazzling lights

Gulfport Harbor Lights Winter Festival at Jones Park, U.S. 90 near U.S. 49, Gulfport. Thru Dec. 31. 1.2 million lights on display that can be viewed on foot or aboard a free heated trolley. Santa’s workshop. 5:30-9:30 p.m. Due to cold weather, closed Friday-Sunday, Dec. 23-25. Reopens Dec. 26 at 5:30 p.m. $15 general admission, $5 ages 12-5.

Christmas Lights Festival, thru Dec. 31 at Mississippi Coast Model Railroad Museum, 522 Pass Road, Gulfport. 5- 9 p.m. daily. More than 80 train layouts. Riding trains. Lights. $5 adults, $2 children.

King’s Christmas Display at 15324 Three Rivers Road, in the Woolmarket area of Biloxi, runs from 6-10 p.m. Dec. 10-Dec. 28. Free. Santa will visit on Dec. 10-11 and 17-18. Coffee for adults and candy canes for all. Walk or drive through.

Bring the cameras

Santa at Edgewater Mall with the Ice Queen and princess friends near Dillard’s inside the mall, 2600 Beach Blvd., Biloxi. Mon.-Sat. 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday noon-6 p.m.

Finding Christmas — Dec. 15-26 at Beau Rivage Resort and Casino, Biloxi. New Broadway-style musical variety production that follows a young brother & sister duo who set out on a quest to find the true meaning of Christmas, with Jack Frost as the host and Santa. Tickets start at $12.95 with four packs starting at $40. Shows Wednesday thru Monday at 3 & 7 p.m., plus Saturday at 11 a.m. The lobby and promenade are decorated for family photos.

Diving Santa — Saturdays and Sundays through Christmas Eve at Mississippi Aquarium, 2100 E. Beach Blvd., Gulfport. See Santa dive from 10:30-11:30 a.m. and 1:30-2:30 p.m. Included with general admission.

Get in the action

Public Ice Skating at Coast Coliseum weekends leading up to Christmas and to the end of Seawolves’ hockey season in April. Two-hour session. $13 admission includes skate rental. The schedule is for weekends, with weekday times added the week before and after Christmas.

Christmas Ghost and Cemetery Walk, thru Dec. 30. Meet at The Blind Tiger, 119 North Beach Blvd., Bay St Louis. Tours start at 7 and 9 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. $29.

Krampus Creepy Christmas Boat Tour, 6160 Central Ave, Bay Saint Louis. Friday-Sunday, thru Dec. 30, hourly from 4-7 p.m. Book online. $79 per person

Dec. 22 — Caroling In Cathedral Square, 870 Howard Ave.m Biloxi begins at 6 p.m. Join Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cathedral Choir in a community sing-a-long! Hot chocolate and cookies. Free
