It’s almost time for the Gulfport Harbor Lights Festival. Here’s how to get tickets.
A Gulf Coast holiday tradition will open just in time for Thanksgiving weekend.
The 2022 Gulfport Harbor Lights Winter Festival is slated to open on Black Friday, Nov. 25, and run through Dec. 31, closing only for Christmas Eve.
The festival will be aglow with more than 1.5 million lights throughout the 40-acre setting in Jones Park.
In addition to the epic light display, the event will feature train and carnival rides, s’mores kits for the warming stations, a dancing tree show, Santa’s Village and free photos with the jolly host, provided you bring a camera. Santa promises to stick around each night from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Gates will open nightly from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (the box office will stop selling tickets when the gates close at 9:30) and the festival will close at 10:30 p.m. each night.
Festival pricing will be the same as last year: $15 for general admission, $5 for children ages 5 to 12 and free to children under 5. Leashed pets are welcome.
Admission does not include festival rides. Ride tickets may be purchased at the event.
Trolley rides to and from the parking areas are free. In addition to parking at the west entrance of Jones Park, free shuttle service to and from the Coast Transit Authority parking garage at 2015 15th Street will be available. Parking at the garage is also free.
Online tickets are nonrefundable but may be used for any open night and purchased at showclix.com. Tickets are also available at the box office at 2269 Jones Park Dr. in Gulfport. For more information, contact the City of Gulfport or visit Gulfportharborlights.com.
