Meet the Gulf Coast Debutante Society’s 2019 coterie for its 54th annual ball

The board of the Gulf Coast Debutante Society announces 36 debutantes for its 54th annual Debutante Ball. Since 1966, young ladies from South Mississippi have been presented to society at this premier social gathering. The 2019 coterie will officially make their debut Dec. 21 in the Cypress Cove Ballroom at the Hollywood Resort Hotel in Bay St. Louis.

The debutantes are:

Kaleigh Ann Bates of Long Beach attends the University of Southern Mississippi and is majoring in nursing. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Randy Johnson and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Keith Bates Jr. Her grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Cyril Ladner III of Long Beach, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Keith Bates Sr. of Long Beach, Ms. Shelby Darlene Bates of Gulfport, Mr. Randy Arden Johnson and the late Mrs. Randy Arden Johnson of Hattiesburg, and Mr. and Mrs. William Stewart Frederic of Moss Point.

Jordan Elizabeth Bosarge of Pass Christian attends the University of Alabama and is majoring in anthropology and international studies with minors in Japanese and French. She is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Joseph Richard Bosarge. Her grandparents are Dr. and Mrs. Atkinson Winans Longmire of Silver Spring, Maryland, and Mr. and Mrs. Phil Steven Bosarge of Pascagoula.

Grace LeBlanc Breisacher of Waveland attends the University of Southern Mississippi and is majoring in child and family sciences with an emphasis in child development. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Karl Gustave Breisacher IV. Her grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Ivy James Gaudet of New Orleans, Louisiana, and Ms. Marybeth Norris Breisacher and the late Karl Gustave Breisacher III of Diamondhead.

Madison Rose Cox of Gulfport attends Louisiana State University and is majoring in fashion merchandising. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Jude Cox.
