He held a knife on his mother and fled, Bay police say. She turned him in.
Police have arrested a Bay St. Louis man who was wanted on a warrant for holding a knife against his mother’s neck, Police Chief Gary Ponthieux said.
Jesse Matthew Linton, 33, had been sought since Jan. 14, when police were called to a home in the 10000 block of Road 556, Ponthieux said.
Linton’s mother had told police he had been arguing with his brother when he threatened her with a knife. Linton fled before police arrived, but an investigator obtained a warrant for his arrest.
The mother called police Sunday morning and said Linton was inside her home, Ponthieux said.
Police arrested Linton on a charge of aggravated domestic assault.
Linton was taken to the Hancock County jail and held on a $75,000 bond set by Municipal Court Judge Steven Maggio.
