There’s no slowing down Charlie Wilson. The acclaimed R&B singer has had chart-topping hits both with the Gap Band and as a solo artist. His single “I’m Blessed,” from his album “In It To Win It,” went to #1 on the gospel charts, a first for Wilson.

Wilson will be at the Mississippi Coliseum in Jackson at 7 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets start at $49 and are available at Ticketmaster.com.

Charlie Wilson is today’s guest on the #ClarkCast Podcast where he talks about his life, getting sober and the legacy of Sly Stone.

Plus, it’s Funky Food Friday and we try pickled quail eggs so you don’t have to — ever.
