Saturday fire destroys Harrison County mobile home

A fire reported shortly after 2 p.m. Saturday destroyed a mobile home on Sunflower Road in Central Harrison County.

Fire units from the Harrison County Fire Service, Lizana and Saucier Fire departments and the CRTC (Airport Fire Department) responded and found fire shooting from the roof of the home.

No one was home at the time, and the fire was discovered by a neighbor who called 911.

No injuries were reported during the fire and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
