COVID-19 vaccinations are not required for attendees of The Voice alumni Morgan Wallen’s Biloxi performance next year.

The controversial Country singer will play “The Dangerous Tour” live with special guest Hardy & Larry Fleet at the Coast Coliseum on March 3.

There are no requirements for vaccinations set for “any show currently in the building,” at the Coliseum, the convention center’s Executive Director Matt McDonnell told the Sun Herald, including the Morgan Wallen concert. The event center has no COVID protocols listed on its website.

More than 30,000 people attended Wallen’s concert on Saturday in the Mobile area.

“So, listen. I ain’t never sold this many tickets before,” Morgan Wallen said near the end of his sold-out show at Mobile’s fairgrounds. “I sold, we sold, 31,000 tickets tonight in Mobile, Alabama.”

Vaccination wasn’t required at the outdoor venue in Mobile, though some stops on the country singer’s tours are requiring vaccinations or negative COVID tests and mask-wearing.

Wallen recently took to Twitter to say that all his fans are welcome to his shows, perhaps in reference to some venues’ COVID protocols.

“PSA: Everyone is welcome to attend my shows,” he wrote.

Wallen stirred controversy earlier this year after he was caught on camera using a racial slur in February. He apologized after he was suspended from his record label and pulled from many radio stations throughout the U.S.
