Reeves plans to reopen more of Mississippi amid coronavirus. Here’s how to watch.

Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves said Monday morning that he will announce today additional plans to reopen more parts of the state’s economy, and you can watch live video of his announcement amid the new coronavirus pandemic.

The governor broadcasts his daily press briefings on the COVID-19 outbreak on his Facebook page at facebook.com/tatereeves/ and Monday’s announcement will be shown at 2:30 p.m.

“We all need some good news, even if we can’t get back to 100 percent normal right away. I hope you’ll join us,” Reeves said on his Facebook page.

Monday’s announcement takes place just three days after Reeves decided against reopening more businesses due to Friday’s numbers from the state health department that showed the largest single-day spike in cases, 397, and deaths, 20.
