How to watch Governor Reeves’ announcement on MS COVID-19 shelter-in-place changes
Gov. Tate Reeves is expected to announce today that he will again loosen restrictions under Mississippi’s shelter-in-place order, and you can watch video of his announcement regarding the impact of the new coronavirus.
The governor broadcasts his daily press briefings on the COVID-19 pandemic on his Facebook page at facebook.com/tatereeves/ and Friday’s announcement will be shown at 2:30 p.m.
Friday’s press conference comes a week after Reeves said that Coast beaches and state lakes could reopen. Also, he allowed retail sales at nonessential businesses through delivery and curbside pickup.
The governor has said this week that he plans to open up more businesses as he slowly reopens the state’s economy.
