City of Gulfport extends coronavirus curfew. Here are the details.

The city of Gulfport is extending its novel coronavirus curfew until further notice, the mayor’s office has announced.

The curfew runs from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. daily.

A proclamation extending the curfew said it is necessary for the public’s health and safety during the COVID-19 pandemic. The city says people are safer sheltering in place at home.

The state now has a total of 3,360 coronavirus cases, with 122 deaths. In South Mississippi, 23 deaths have been reported.
