Last year Harrah's Gulf Coast brought Lee Greenwood to sing "God Bless the USA" on the Biloxi waterfront and this year country star Toby Keith will perform his patriotic "American Soldier" and "Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue" on July 1 to launch the July Fourth weekend.
Keith will perform hits like "As Good As I Once Was," "Whiskey Girl" and "I Love This Bar" on the waterfront stage at The Great Lawn.
His concert will be Keith's first return to Biloxi in more than 7 years. The opening act is at 7 p.m. and Keith takes the stage at 8 p.m. for a 90-minute show.
"Fourth of July is an exciting time on the Gulf Coast -- especially in Biloxi," said Jonathan Jones, general manager of Harrah's Gulf Coast. "We receive visitors from all over the region and surrounding states. Because of that, we really wanted to up the ante for our entertainment this holiday weekend by bringing in a big name talent."
