$10 bet pays off in a huge way for lucky player at South MS casino

There were fireworks outside and inside Friday at the Beau Rivage Resort and Casino, as a lucky slots player became the latest jackpot winner on the Mississippi Coast.

The player, from Franklin, Tennessee, played for three minutes and struck it rich with a $10 bet on a 10-cent Dancing Drums Tower machine, winning $107,382.82.

This is the year’s 26th jackpot of $100,000 or more at South Mississippi casinos, while there were 31 for all of 2025.

The total of these jackpots now stands at more than $5.5 million, with the top prize of more than $1 million paid at the Beau Rivage in January.
