Last month, a castle for sale in Ocean Springs listed at $2 million.

The home is three levels with five bedrooms, six baths, 4,400 square feet of living space and terraces everywhere.

But that's not even close to the most expensive listing in the Magnolia State.

The website Trulia lists a 'sportsman's paradise' further upstate for a cool $3.4 million as the most expensive.

It's a nine-bedroom, eight-bath, 8,000 square-foot ranch-style home is listed in Holly Springs and is the most expensive on the market in Mississippi.

Other amenities include a caretaker's house, an eight-room motel, two meeting rooms, a kennel, horse barn and a "10 station sporting clays course."

Don't forget the quail breeding pen.

But a Sun Herald reader found three South Mississippi homes are on the market for more than that.

The most expensive according to Realtor.com? A home on the beach in Pass Christian is listing at $6.9 million.

The Scenic Drive estate is listed with a main home and two guest cottages, 15 bedrooms, 12 full bathrooms, lots of custom work and a four-car garage.

Just in case you're wondering, the most expensive on the list is located  -- you guessed it -- in California. A 10-bedroom home with 30,000 square feet is listed at $150 million.
