Last year, Fertitta, owner of Golden Nugget Casino Biloxi, filmed two shows at the Biloxi casinos and in Gulfport. He gave contracts to both Pop Brothers of Gulfport and Kismet Cosmetics in Covington, Louisiana.
For the third season, the show moves to Wednesday night and premiers at 9 p.m. Jan. 3.
Fertitta travels the country looking for new and innovative products, like the natural flavors of ice pops at Pop Brothers and the made-in-America lipsticks from Kismet Cosmetics.
He spends $2 billion a year on supplies for more than 600 properties he owns and operates, including five casinos and more than 60 brands of restaurants, hotels and entertainment venues, such as Morton’s The Steakhouse, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. and Saltgrass Steak House, which is under construction in Biloxi.
He’ll film seven 60-minute episodes, and in each he meets with two small businesses owners and samples their goods. If he decides to place an order, it could take their small business to a much larger company.
