Need a job? Three career fairs are coming to Biloxi

Jobs seekers should update their resumes, dress in business attire and attend one or all of the three career fairs in Biloxi over the next two weeks.

▪  Edgewater Mall Job and Career Fair from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, will offer part-time and full-time jobs at the mall on U.S. 90 in Biloxi. Representatives of stores and restaurants will be set up in front of Dillard’s and applicants should be prepared for on-the-spot interviews.

▪  Unemployment Eliminators is returning to the Coast Coliseum and Convention Center in Biloxi on Wednesday, Nov. 1, with a free job fair from 9 a.m. to noon at the Convention Center at 2350 Beach Blvd.

▪  The Department of Veterans Affairs Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System is looking to hire more registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and nursing assistants in its behavioral health programs during a job fair on Nov. 4. The event is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Laundry/Nutrition & Food Service Building 31 at 400 Veterans Ave. Applicants should bring a resume and three professional references. Annual salaries ranges are: $47,920-$86,467 for registered nurses, $29,356-$47,598 for licensed practical nurses and $26,150-$42,702 for nursing assistants.
