Free hot air balloon rides offered Wednesday

The distinctive RE/MAX hot air balloon will be back in Long Beach Nov. 4 for free tethered rides from 4 p.m. to sunset, weather permitting. The weather cancelled free tethered hot-air balloon rides in September and they'll try again at 4 p.m. Wednesday.

The RE/Max hot-air balloon is being brought to South Mississippi by the RE/MAX Along The Way office in Long Beach.

Rides will be offered from 4 p.m. to sundown, directly across from Long Beach Middle School on North Cleveland Avenue, weather permitting. For safety reasons, the balloon won't lift off if the wind is too strong.
