GULFPORT -- A 5-year-old girl reported missing after school Friday wasn't missing after all, police said.

A family member had picked up the child from her bus stop, police Sgt. Damon McDaniel said.

Police had gathered at Bel-Aire Elementary after receiving a complaint that the girl had left school on a bus but didn't make it to her bus stop.
