The heart of Wiggins is roughly 40 miles from the beaches of the Mississippi Sound, but it has a lot to offer families looking for something fun to do -- there’s a water park, a splash pad, a skate park and Flint Creek, to name a few. The American Pickle and Canning Co. escalated the city’s economic growth before it moved to Texas. The city originally grew on the back of the timber industry and it continues to do so to this day.
