Honey Bear wants a home

Honey Bear (A30195215), a 4-year-old female brown and white terrier mix, is the featured pet of the week for the Humane Society of South Mississippi, 2615 U.S. 49, Gulfport. She ‘came in as heartworm positive, but has already gone through treatment,’ HSSM said. For details about adopting a pet, call 863-3354 or check out hssm.org. All animals adopted through HSSM are spayed/neutered and microchipped and given shots. Other pets are available at the Hancock County Animal Shelter, 7175 Texas Flat Road, Kiln (466-4516) and the Jackson County Animal Shelter, 4400 Audubon Drive, Gautier (497-6350).
