Gulf Coast Spring Pilgrimage schedule
The 64th annual Mississippi Gulf Coast Spring Pilgrimage will be held April 12-17. There is no charge for the tours, which are presented by various garden clubs.
Booklets that include addresses and background on the sites are available at visitors centers on Interstate 10 in Bay St. Louis and U.S. 90 in Biloxi; at chambers of commerce; the Mary C. O'Keefe Cultural Center in Ocean Springs; the Ohr-O'Keefe Museum of Art in Biloxi; and through Coast garden clubs.

No home tours this day. The day is being left open as a day to enjoy fun and free activities throughout the Mississippi Gulf Coast. A list of free "Coastal adventures" will be available at tour sites.

In addition, five rain barrels designed and painted by Coast artists are part of the Designer Rain Barrel Project and Raffle conducted by the Mississippi Council of Garden Clubs to benefit the Pilgrimage. Each barrel is a fully functional work of art, with a screw top and a spigot installed. Tickets are $5 each for individual rain barrels, and they are available through the individual garden clubs. The drawing will held May 9, and winners do not have to be present to win.
