This MS Coast home was one of the top listings in the US on Realtor.com. Here’s why.
The Mississippi Coast is appealing to many homebuyers at the moment. In fact, one Bay St. Louis home was one of the 10 most popular listings on Realtor.com last week.
Real estate writer Kellie Speed offered a few reasons why the 1,444-square-foot home fit perfectly amongs a list that included a posh estate with views of the Las Vegas Strip, custom-built home on a private island and a Chicago duplex that was featured on HGTV’s “Windy City Rehab.”
“This recently built home offers a front-row view of the Jourdan River, as well as a unique layout,” Speed said.
The 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom waterfront property had the right combination of charm and amenities to wow potential home buyers in its first few weeks on the market. Some noteworthy features include a kitchen with an arch ceiling, quartz countertops and a walk-in pantry to outdoor space that included a patio, balcony and covered boat launch.
Affordability may have also played its part in the popularity of the property. The three bedroom, two bath home was one of four homes on the list that was priced under $1 million and the only one of the four with a waterfront.
