My momma taught me not to brag about myself, and in truth for many years of my life I would have been hard pressed to find much to crow about.
Assistant manager at a big box store? Big deal. Clerk in a university transcript office? Not very exciting I am afraid.
But times change!
If you haven’t figured it out yet, I have the best job in the world now. I spend my time in restaurant kitchens, talking to chefs, sampling delicious food and interviewing people who are doing interesting things, at least in a culinary way.

This week, I’m going to take this blog through some of my favorite images I have taken while on assignment.
The first image featured was taken at Cannella in Bay St Louis. It is one of my favorite places, run by two of my favorite people, and the image is of a handmade, filled to order cannoli. It was hands down the best I have ever had, anywhere in the world.
