My favorite po-boy is an oysters Rockefeller po-boy

Today is the last day of a week of blogging about interesting dishes that I have recently experienced on the Gulf Coast.

This one may surprise you, so sit down.

Bacchus Biloxi has as its Friday special an oysters Rockefeller po-boy that ranks as one of my favorite po-boys I have ever eaten.

It is nothing more than properly prepared oysters Rockefeller served on a po-boy loaf, dressed and with a good slap of mayonnaise, but is it good.

Try this and you will have to wonder why it isn’t a popular po-boy everywhere.

If you are not a Rockefeller fan you will probably not be taken with this dish, but if you like oysters as much as I do, you might want to get two of these. Somehow adding mayonnaise really puts this over the top, so don’t hold back. And while you are at it, you might as well order a cold Barq’s.
