This week, I’m blogging about the serious eats that can be had on the Coast for lunch. Today, we’ll head west and end up in the lovely little town of Bay St Louis.

Talk about a handful of great lunch spots. Wow! The Bay is loaded with great restaurants. It’s hard not to go to the Blind Tiger, with its great bay view, and good food, and I also like 200 North Beach, Cannella if you are in the mood for German or Italian cuisine.

Try Cypress Café or the Mocking Bird Café if you are in the mood to hang out while enjoying some good eats, but the Old Cuevas Bistro has something that I absolutely crave.

If you read any of my stuff you must know I have a serious love for a good burger, and you just might have also assumed that I am a Southerner, with all the predilections that comes with that, so when a restaurant offers a good burger and tops it with pimento and cheese, you know I’ve got to have it.

It is a simple idea but it is an astoundingly good idea as well. Get a few fries to go along with it, and you are done.
