Here's a real blessing that you will find at some farmers markets. A few vendors have prepared foods that require nothing more than warming up or just digging.

They are made, of course, in state-certified kitchens.

Such prepared foods are perfect for that busy Saturday when you have too much shopping to do and not enough time to prepare your family's lunch or dinner.

Lola Fleur in Ocean Springs offers killer pimento and cheese, chicken salad, tuna salad and more. What they offer varies by the day, so check them out and make sure to ask for a sample. Cristal Sterling will be happy to help you.

KILLER GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICH

1/2 pint pimento and cheese

Hearty thick sliced locally bread

1/4 stick locally butter

Melt half the butter in a pan. Slather a thick helping of pimento and cheese on the bread, add the other piece of bread and butter both sides. Cook in the melted butter over a medium heat until the bread is toasted and the pimento and cheese is melted and gooey. Make sure to cut it in half before serving, so the melted cheese oozes out and is even more tempting.
