4 bone-in pork chops
2 teaspoons chopped garlic
1 tablespoon chopped onion
2 teaspoons fish sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
Green onions for garnish
Combine the garlic, onion, fish sauce and sugar to make the marinade. Add the pork chops and leave for at least 6 hours. Drain off excess marinade and sauté in hot oil until done. Serve with steamed rice and a tomato and cucumber salad. Reserve some of the marinade for a dipping sauce, if you like.
