How to enjoy fine-dining on a budget
Today is the last day in a week I devoted to blogging about fine dining at the Casinos. I am only sorry that I could not give a mention to all the great options the casinos offer, but there are dozens.
Thursday, I mentioned that some of the restaurants are pricey, but by selecting an appetizer or two, and pairing it with a good glass of wine, the price can be remarkably affordable.
Here is a great example: Thirty-Two, at the IP Casino and Resort, has a cheese cart.
As any serious foodie knows, a grand meal can be made with nothing more than a few cheeses and a glass of wine.
The last time I was at Thirty-Two the cheese cart had 10 options. If you choose three, it will set you back $18, add a glass of wine, and a generous tip, and you have explored not only a few of the world’s great cheeses, a wine paired by an expert, a stunning view of the Coast, and you did it all for a reasonable price. This is going to be a culinary adventure you will long remember.
