#TGIF: Try your hand at Mississippi's most-Googled cocktail

Whether inspired by the Mississippi Coast or not, the state's sweet tooth surely has something to do with its most popular cocktail: Sex on the Beach.

Real estate website Estately has put together a map of the most-Googled cocktails from 2004-14, and the tropical concoction barely beat out the more traditional Tom Collins.

Mississippi also ranked 33rd in overall cocktail Googling, with Massachusetts taking the top spot and South Dakota being least likely to shake a mixer.

The Sex on the Beach drink is usually made with peach schnapps, vodka, cranberry juice, orange juice and pineapple juice and garnished with an orange slice and Maraschino cherry.

The Tom Collins originated in London in the 1860s and contains gin, lemon juice, sugar and carbonated water.

Shockingly, the Sun Herald archives do not contain recipes for either libation, but head over to WikiHow.com for a step-by-step recipe for Sex on the Beach and Tom Collins.
