Gulfport man accused in FEMA trailer burglary

A Gulfport man jailed this morning on a $50,000 bond is accused of breaking into a FEMA trailer on County Farm Road, Harrison County Sheriff Melvin Brisolara said.

James Tyler Webster, 23, of Mississippi 53, was arrested shortly after Webster he was picked up on a shoplifting charge elsewhere. Witnesses to the home burglary were able to identify Webster as the same man seen using a pry bar to break into the County Farm Road home.

He was later picked up at the Gulfport Police Department, where he was being held on the shoplifting charge. He was charged then with burglary. The sheriff said the stolen items, including jewelry, cash and a handgun, were recovered.

Webster was jailed in Harrison County after his arrest.
