Katie Lee and the Cooking Channel will be busy on the Mississippi Gulf Coast in the next few days.

On Oct. 25, Jeff Clark reported Lee is bringing “Beach Bites with Katie Lee” to the Blind Tiger in Biloxi on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1. Lee also co-hosts “The Kitchen” on weekdays on the Food Network.

On Monday, The Shed BBQ in Ocean Springs announced that the Cooking Channel will be filming at the famous barbecue shack starting Oct. 31 and continuing through Nov. 2, featuring their ribs. Lee herself will be at The Shed at 4 p.m. Nov. 2, and filming will continue after sunset, with the hopes of capturing a glorious Mississippi Gulf Coast sunset. While Lee is at The Shed, The John Haden Collective will perform on the main stage.

Those aren’t the only Coast sites the cookbook author, television food critic, chef and novelist — and former Mrs. Billy Joel — will visit. She’ll also pop up to one of Pop Brothers’ carts on the boardwalk in Gulfport on Nov. 2 to learn more about the artisan ice pops. The location and time haven’t been finalized yet, Pop Brothers co-owner Shannon Arzola said, but it will be “on the boardwalk somewhere between Courthouse Road and Jones Park” in the afternoon.

“Beach Bites” features Lee as she travels the world searching for the best local cuisine on coastal settings. The show also has taped a segment in Gulf Shores.
