How to be plastic free in April
Kerr Grabowski and Carole McKellar have launched the Plastic Free April campaign.
They suggest doing the following to help reduce plastics in your household.
-- 1: Replace plastic drinking straws with paper, reusable ones or stainless steel ones.

_ 2: Use cloth shopping bags at stores instead of plastic bags
-- 3: Use a thermos or reusable container for water instead of drinking water from plastic bottles.

The Plastics Free April Group will be showing the documentary "Bag It," on Thursday, April 21 at 6 p.m. at the Hancock County Library, located at 320 U.S. Hwy. 90 in Bay St. Louis.
