One injured in I-10 wreck in Gulfport

GULFPORT -- Authorities responded to an accident with injuries on Interstate 10 near the Lorraine-Cowan Road exit Monday night.

The wrec, whichk occurred shortly after 9 p.m., delayed traffic in the westbound lanes and injured at least one person, according to the Mississippi Department of Transportation.

Gulfport police, firefighters and EMT units were still on the scene as of 9:45 p.m. Monday.
